Girlfriends reviews Girl Bros.

Girlfriends Magazine reviews Girl Bros. in its June 1999 issue. The very positive review says that the "creative dyke duo" has grown a lot from their days as "feel-good back-up" Revolutionaries, and likens Girl Bros. to a more substantive Purple Rain. The album rates a solid "A" in the review.

Wendy & Lisa release MP3 single

After a couple of false starts having to do with a slightly mis-written press release, the MP3 site amp3.com has released Wendy & Lisa's "All Nite" as a featured single. In the day that "Uh, Huh, Don't Look Down" was up on the site, it reached Gold status for the volume of downloads. The site also includes a brief -- and now corrected -- bit of information on Wendy & Lisa and the song "All Nite."

Revolution reunion rumors

While Woodstock '99 promoters may be eager to see a Revolution reunion as soon as Woodstock '99, there are no firm plans for a Revolution reunion at the mega-concert. Or, at this time, for anywhere else. According to Wendy & Lisa's management, there are no plans for a Revolution reunion . . . yet. Apparently there have been -- and continue to be -- discussions of a reunion in some form, but there are no plans currently in the works. According to Wendy & Lisa's management, if there is a reunion, it "definitely will NOT take place at Woodstock."
